Could someone make a mod that allows vertical prints to be able to overlap each other?

That is not possible. It doesn't work lthat way. It's the same case as for brick overlap.
There was a old private mod which was failbinned like once and then forgotten which did allow brick overlaps. But not sure if it even works anymore. And even so you wouldn't be able to find it.

Easy to make a new one. But overlapped bricks are kinda buggy.

Try a combination of water and brick zones.

I kinda mean like, put 2 1x2 vertical plates in the same area, just opposite sides.

Huh?

Huh?
since 1 brick = one stud, he wants you to build in the stud.

That would be terrible to do

Not with the vertical print pack, not necessarily.
But depending on how it's used, it may be.
For instance if you use the 1x1f vertical print rotated twice on the same brick, they will still have a gap inbetween and it wouldn't actually have any overlaps.
But in general if used outside of that, used wrongly or simply used with other bricks, yes, it's a terrible thing to do.

You can place a normal zone/layer brick inside a water layer/brick. This is noticeable with placing giant cubes in mod-ter bricks. Just make a version of vertical prints that uses the water layer and you would be able to place two in the same spot.
