I don't use adblock solely because there a certain channels I like that I want to support

but then again I might as well just whitelist em...

Ads aren't annoying until I have an ad for every video, which happens when someone's revenue stream is broken.

Google is free to use, don't be so arrogant as to expect them to operate at a loss because you don't want a 15 second ad.
