I lol'd.
I thought that we don't have a bot problem?
Even so, what would that do to help with the "stupid n00bs" problem?

Haha, now that would be funny.

I like the quiz idea. But I don't think the questions a t the bottom are necessary. The only problem i have with people using stuff like ur,2, etc is when the us it too much in one post. Also if someone uses your or there the wrong way the post is still readable. If you miss too many of the questions you have to wait x number of hours before you can post. But the user taking the quiz would be warned that if they mass to many they'll have to take it a gain. The paragraph with the rules should also show some good and bad post examples like these:

Good: I really like your build but I think you need to use more bricks.
Bad: ur build really suck i give you 1/10

What you're saying people opinions can't be different? If I want to vote 1/10 its my choice.
Bad: ur build english really suck i give you 1/10

The quiz would be greatly appreciated but must be different because i can sense that some noobs are memorizing it right now.

Its bad because the person didn't post any constructive criticism. Its ok for someone to give a low rating but not
just say something like "gay 1/10" - real post.

That's the whole point of it. But yeah, the questions would probably be randomly picked from a selection of different questions, and the answer locations would be random as well, so you couldn't answer option 3 on the same question twice and get the right answer both times.

Tom

I don't think it needs to be that complicated. The man idea of this quiz thing is to force people to read the rules, not as much to keep noobs out even though it would.

No restrictions to newbies. At all. People who simply haven't been registered for the forums would be punished for what the majority of the 'stupid' users do. And it's not like a lot of these 'stupid' users would care about the restrictions, only the others.

You do know the Newbie rank only lasts for a little while, you have to get a certain post count to rank up. Anyway if a New NEW person joins the Blockland forums probably the last thing they will do is make an add-on thread straight away. Its not that restricting, its too stop n00bs making help threads EVERYWHERE.
