Author Topic: Should I buy Ocarina of Time 3D or A Link Between Worlds?  (Read 1756 times)

I'm talking about your VERY first time.
you honestly make it sound like ocarina of time is dedicated to zelda veterans and locked behind bars until you've experienced the other games. saying that nobody beat the game without a guide for their first time is an over-exaggeration and it sounded incredibly silly to read.

it doesn't matter...
Except it does. Don't be so short sighted. If he was about to spend money on a stuff game i could have told him not to buy that one and get both of the 3DS games instead. For all we know he could be burning money or donating it to Greenpeace.

Savings, Launchpad, SSb4, Destiny, Ext. Hard Drive, etc.
Destiny apparently comes out in September

you have plenty of time to save enough money to buy it

and there's still the chance that it will be another brown boring fps.

No one here beat the game for the first time without online tutorials. No one.
There has to be someone who wrote the online tutorial therefore there has to be someone who beat the game for the first time without online tutorials

LOL

Bitch I beat that stuff when I didn't have internet access or guides or whatever, and I'm sure a good sum of people here didn't either.

Quit projecting your inability to do things on other people.

Alright I guess I just suck at 3D zeldas. Explains why I didn't like twilight princess.

Twilight Princess was one of my favorites so far.

I can't really tell for sure because I haven't played Skyward Sword in a while though.

and midna was pretty hot before + after

If only between the two you said, OoT3D. ALBW isn't very good.

Twilight Princess and Wind Waker are masterpieces. Majora's Mask is...

timeless.

YEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA AH

No seriously, TP WW and MM are the best games in the series. However, OoT is good for beginners. ALTTP is hard as balls but it's aeons ahead of ALBW. All of the original GB games are excellent. Skyward Sword is pretty but not very gripping. Minish Cap is kind of meh. Four Swords is pretty bad, but Four Swords Adventures is damn excellent. The original LoZ is pretty bland and very confusing without a game guide. LoZ II is ruthlessly difficult and very different from the rest of the series but it's still extremely good. The series has never had a truly "bad" entry... but ALBW is really pushing the envelope.

If you are a Zelda Veteran then you should play OoT. While it is an amazing game, the difficulty can be frustrating.

LOL, what

I beat OoT when I was loving 8 without any help at all
