Author Topic: should I try out halo?  (Read 1665 times)

ODST had a good soundtrack

No need to explain. It just sucks.
Sorry mate, but COD sucks now. It use to be, started sucking after COD4. ARMA and Red Orchestra 2/Rising Storm are 100x better than that arcadey piece of stuff.

Also Master Chef > Cigar Smoking Mustache commando british guy

the story is actually decent from what i've played

ask dunkey, for example

just don't expect to understand the minor lore without reading the goddamn books

the soundtrack in halo 3 makes it alone
I mean god damn

I actually read all the books as a kid. The story is loving amazing. That's one of the main reasons I love playing the game, that and the soundtrack.

I played through them all up until Halo 4, and I've yet to try Spartan Assault.

If you think the game is interesting, try it, but honestly, you could pick up any generic shooter and not be missing much.

That said, I have a bias against shooters nowadays, so I'm probably the wrong person to ask.

I don't really like Halo, but the first game is definitely better than the new ones. Just as long as you're playing the real PC version.

You could always get Halo:CE and wait for Spv3 to come out. I got involved with CMT years ago but missed out on Spv2 and 2.5/bmp.
I actually had the liberty to talk with Masterz1337 about the campaign and its about 90% complete/playable, missing a few tags, .maps and bipods. This isn't halo, its a whole new game. The Beta for Truth and Reconciliation is out as well. Beta'd A30(Pillar of Autumn) last month.
