Author Topic: I'm trying out an iMac right now  (Read 911 times)

I'd get it if you could afford it, Apple computers really do the job and for me they've lasted longer than all my other computers. I've had all types of PC's including Dell's and the longest I have had one for was about 4 and a half years. While my Mac's have all lasted more than 7 years. In my opinion, money really does buy quality.
Whaddya mean by "lasted?" Did something in the computer physically break? Some sort of virus eat your hard drive? Disc drive got filled up with coins?

Pfft. I use iMacs at school everyday, Old and new ones.

Although they're usually low-end ones. At least they're bootcamped (Doubt it's legally done though)

whats so impressive about 27 inches. them monitors have been available for any computer for like 10 years.

Got my 27" iMac last week, absolutely beautiful. Theres something different about the screen that makes it so amazing, it's glossy glass but it doesn't reflect like most glossy screens, I think it's how they bond the panel to the glass. Well worth the £1700 or w.e. I spent on it!
