so local disc (C:) here has toomany files on it. therefore i wanna make it so what ever i download and stuff saves onto local disc (D:)

ie: if i download minecraft or blockland it will save on local disc (D:)

Assuming you have chrome for a browser, Settings>Advanced Settings>Downloads>Download Location

I'd recommend also checking "Ask where to save each file before downloading" but that's 100% optional and preference based.

usually those secondary local disks carry a lot less storage space because they're only meant for backups

can you even directly download files to a disc? I don't think so

You can if you're using Windows, it pops up with a tool that I can't remember the name of offhand that will ask if you want to burn files to disc.

D: can't necessarily be assumed to be a disk drive. He said it was local disk D:. On an old laptop of ours, there were C: and D: local disk partitions already there when we bought it.
