I was talking about the speed of cpu rendering.

depends on what you want it to do.
gaming, hell no lol
video editing/music/school/modeling/art etc. then yes its good
lol video editing is a lot more demanding than most games

uh I care about the speed of CPU rendering, that stuff can take forever if you have stuff hardware

I mean I know you're talking about the entire point of CPU-based rendering being accuracy but it should still be as fast as you can manage

this, though its mostly RAM dependant

I'd look elsewhere, HP only made good business laptops (and this was like early-mid 2000s; I'm not sure if they still do)
untrue. a friend of mine got a really good laptop from hp for $700. the cpu is mid-range (A8 i think), it has an 8750m, 1080p, 5-6 hrs battery life, doesn't really get hot, 8GB of ram (with extra slots)

it's probably the best laptop i've seen for that price
