That tutorial contains really outdated information, you're not limited to 30 seconds. I've made plenty of loops before that almost reach 2 minutes and work just fine in-game, just make sure they're under 1024 kB.

its just badspot doesnt allow you to post loops longer than 30 seconds

actually badspot doesn't allow loops that are larger than 500 kb
