It was British land before Israel existed.
So, what you are saying is that Israel kicked out British people...?
Britain controlled the land. On paper. Their paper. It's called colonialism. Was India Britain as well before Gandhi?
Britain gave the Jewish people land that wasn't theirs to give. One issue I have with this whole conflict is saying Jewish as if it is a race.

Now here is my theory on this whole situation: The natives of the land were indeed people of many civilizations. Canaanites, Hebrews, Arabs, and every other ethnic identity who came and settled or established itself in the land. Before Abraham's religion, all of these people were living there, under different Pagan religions and tribal customs. Once Judaism started to become popular, the Jews were born. After thousands of years of coming and going, many of these Jews eventually converted to Christianity. Some stayed as Jews. People came and went. Conquests happened. Missionaries came and went as well. Remember, Palestine/Israel didn't have the borders we see today, it was just land that was there. We Arabs call it "Bilad Al Sham" or the "Levant" in English. This stretched from Egypt to Turkey, and reached all the way to Saudi Arabia.  Now, eventually Islam also reached this region, and many people converted. Some stayed as Christians, others as Jews. Fast forward to the late 1800s. The region now has Christians, Jews, and Muslims living in relative harmony for hundreds upon hundreds of years. These people are all Palestinians. Once the nation of Israel was established, these Palestinian Jews became a part of the new nation of Israel. Ashkenational socialist Jews immigrated into the land and also became Israelis. The Christians and Muslims remained Palestinians. See, the flaw here is the Zionist cause used their religion to justify all of this. They made Judaism a race, and said that anyone Jewish, regardless if he was a convert or not, was now Israeli. This is why it is hard to criticize Israel without being called anti-Semitic (although the Palestinians are just as Semitic, if not more then some of the European Jews).

btw: This probably has some flaws and I hardly brushed over centuries worth of details. Sorry to simplify such a complicated topic.

God damn, I wanna disagree with you but you proved a lot of excellent points. I'm wrong. Also many scientists don't consider the Askenational socialist Jews (European) to be actually Jewish because most were Christian and converted to Judaism during the 1200's-1700's. I disagree though, that was many years ago. Also many people think the real Jews were Sephardic ones (Jews from the Middle East, Africa, Asia, as well as Spain and Portugal). They think that because Sephardic Jews have tan skin, and they have faces almost identical to Arabs. Honestly, I think there are many differences, but it still doesn't mean the person can't be Jewish though.

That amphitheater picture is forgetin sick.

Jerusalem is still part of Israel, and always will be.
It was British land before Israel existed.
And it was Persian land before Britain existed. Then the Romans took it over before splitting in half and handing it to the Byzantines, who lost it to the Muslims, and it eventually landed in the hands of the Ottomans. I fail to see your point here. This particular plot of land has been constantly changing hands for millenia. Just because the map says "Israel" now doesn't mean that it won't say something else in a hundred years, and to think that it "always will be" Israel is downright foolish.

Heres a pic from google. It's surreal passing it everyday. It's literally in the busiest part of the capital.

Also another area that I didn't get to visit this year is Jerash, an area where they have tons of Roman ruins.
