Author Topic: The Free, Open Source, or Freemium Games Megathread  (Read 1914 times)

why isn't openTTD on the list
I'll add it, I have enough requests. Hold on...

considering the size of this community and the fact that this is one topic on a very specific subject i don't think it's necessary to wait for a flood of requests for a game

I noticed that Freemium is in the title, but isn't being discussed.
I, for one, really like Plants vs. Zombies 2: It's About Time.

Black Mesa counts, right?
i suppose it would, since it's a free source mod.
add Black Mesa: Source to the free games list, OP

Mods are O.K. but I'm not going to add it since it's not a standalone game.

May I also mention that these lists are not dedicated to chronicling every Open Source, Free, or Freemium game, those are just examples. But then again, I will add it if it gets enough requests.

Unturned and Tesseract, the only problem with tesseract its that it has very little players

do not use original ace of spades client, though. use OpenSpades, its like original ace of spades but with not overly pixelated graphics

Plus, it does have broader support, so Mac users have to get that one anyways.

War thunder and Robocraft are also pretty cool free games.
Wait, you play robocraft?
