Chat, player list, and other things flash in-game

For an unusual reason, some things, like the server list and player list, flash in the game.
What's strange about this is putting a window like the Blockland terminal over Blockland will stop the flashing.
What's going on?
I am running manjaro, Linux.

on this OS, yes
not sure how to upgrade drivers on linux

i agree with honytawk, this is most likely caused by outdated, or unofficial graphic drivers
find a way to upgrade your driverz, whether you know how or not; just learn

also if u don't really know how to upgrade your graphic drivers, then i don't see why you're gaming on linux :)

If you're not up to the task of learning how to update drivers on linux, then there isn't much reason for you to be using it as your primary operating system.
