I put mine in hibernate mode when I leave/go to bed. I very rarely completely shut down my computer, only when I accidentally cut power or I need to restart; it takes too long to start up otherwise. Computers don't use any power in hibernate anyway.

Run for 2-3 days, restart, repeat.

One time I accidently forgot and left it on for over a week (9 total days)

Turn off at night or when doing stuff with it.

I turn it off when i go to sleep then boot it up in the morning

Both computers sleep by themselves after some amount of time. All updates are disabled and have to be done manually since we can't spare the data.

I shut it down every night or if I'm leaving home. Power bills mane.
