The same is happening to me.
It certainly has to do with not being able to reach the server.

Amsterdam
CloudFlare
Working

If you too are connected to the Amsterdam Cloudfare, it has to do with that particular server as other people don't seem to have a problem.

Please don't jump to conclusions.
Bad things can happen without the need of someone DDoSing.
This shouldn't happen, but servers aren't infallible.
