in all seriousness though i've probably been on both ends of weird wordage and I probably never realized it because I'm pretty dense.
I mean, if Steam kept chat logs I've got a few older ones but I don't have them anymore because it doesn't.
Oh, there was one incident where I sent a female friend a link to a webcomic via facebook. The webcomic in question pondered a story and concluded with the moral that "wanting something doesn't make it real", which was what I was trying to convey, but then facebook made the link preview title "Dream Girl" and zoomed in on a panel out of context that was taken entirely the wrong way, and she never spoke to me again. Even AFTER I explained what happened to a mutual friend, who explained the situation to her.
It was really stuffty, too, because we had been getting along really well right up until about that point. And that's why I don't send people links anymore.
