I did intentionally though, there's a room without ceiling and with double jump you can easily get out like that.
I hadn't experienced legit falling through floors/walls, the only two bugs I had were:

• Enemies shoot bullets through walls.
• After getting off the ladder I once did not have the weapon in my hands anymore.
