Greg Hunt Caught Editing Wikipedia To Deny The Existence Of Cyclones

This is guy is a forgetin' clown, but I find it at least a bit hilarious at just how much he managed to "fix up" before he was banned.

Anybody else know of politicians trying to modify Wikipedia?

this cannot be real i refuse to believe that someone this hilarious would be a politician

“Cyclones are a mythical wind believed to have been burped out by a massive frog,” read one edit.  “Anyone who believes in cyclones is a big idiot and not nearly as smart or as popular as Greg Hunt.”

Quote
“There's only one way cyclone can be summoned into the physical realm,” Hunt's edits claimed. “They are incredibly attracted to people loudly believing and teaching people about climate change. If someone near you is talking about climate change then you are under threat of being hit by a cyclone unless you shut them up immediately.”

Oops, sorry guys. Just realised the source was Backburner :P I never thought SBS (being as serious as they usually are) would post this, but whatever.

aw :(

kinda disappointing honestly

To be fair, it is based off a true story that is almost as hilarious.

Greg Hunt uses Wikipedia research to dismiss links between climate change and bushfires

Environment Minister Greg Hunt has hosed down suggestions of a link between climate change and increased bushfire intensity, saying he had ''looked up what Wikipedia'' said and it was clear that bushfires in Australia were frequent events that had occurred during hotter months since before European settlement.
