Deus Ex: Human Revolution.

It seems really out of place and like I'm being a trolling starfish, but I'm not. Near the end of the game the entire world goes to stuff at the literal press of a button and everyone turns crazy and tries to tear you apart with bare hands. Deus Ex suddenly turns into Left 4 Dead with non-respawning zombies at the final level.

I forgot about that one. It was a really weird shift and loving frustrating, because I was decked out for stealth which is nigh-impossible when you have screenfulls of zombies charging you down.
