Simple. The player will go through the non-collide brick, and the action or event will happen.
Please forgive me if this already exists c:

It's not exactly what you described, but if you disable collision on a brick and use zone events to turn the brick into a zone, you can preform pretty much the same thing. It's a bit more of a hassle, but it works.

Thanks! But I hope someone makes the addon instead.

okay but why? when there's already an addon that will do exactly this and more
what did you mean when you said "Please forgive me if this already exists"? I assumed you meant that if it already existed you would use that and move on. but apparently it means that you still want someone to make a new addon anyway?

why tristan said that is a mystery. zonebricks will do exactly what the OP wants. the only way it's not what he described is the name of the event

it's not the way he described in that it's also a less direct and less intuitive/more complicated way of doing it (not that it's some kind of rocket science poopy obv)

there's nothing wrong with condensing an entire process into one step

not even that. I think it's separate from the event addon, but there's a brick pack with pre-made zonebricks. some of them do things like speed you up or slow you down, but there are also just generic ones with no special functions other than being a zone brick, that you can add your own events to, including one that's about the size of a doorway, which is what I imagine is the kind of thing OP's trying to do

The reason is that zone bricks only come in certain sizes, while you can use events to make any brick a zone brick.

If the brick you want happens to be one of the zone bricks, Fox is completely right in that it only takes one event.
