Go.
When I was 10-11 years old, I started looking at research, on my family's laptop which was in the living room. I was dumb and didn't know a lot about computers, so I didn't use incognito mode, and didn't clear history. Hell, I even bookmarked a research site once, yeah...
So, one day I was browsing research, where nobody was in the same room, and im watching a video. Suddenly, the computer freezes. Yes, it was a stuff-tier conputer, and it even had a hard drive failure recently.
Then to make things even worse, I hear my family pressing the keypad to open the door. Then, with the research site still visible, they enter the room from outside.
I decide to shut the laptop and play like nothing happened. Later, I decide to try to drain the battery. I was unaware that you can hold the power button down. And to my shock, it didn't work, at least very inefficiently. I was running out of ideas at this point, so I decide to tell my parents and pull the "virus" card.
My dad takes the laptop. I'm scared as forget. But, when he opened it, nothing appeared, only a black screen.
So he holds down the power button and restarts it. He enters the password at start-up, and there's nothing on the screen other than the desktop.
I'm loving relieved.
