the other awful part about it was i got suspended for a week for that, but another boy (a popular one) wore a tshirt covered in a gun silhouette pattern for two days in a row. the second day he wore it was at an awards assembly, where he was in front of all of the school and a ton of parents. he didn't get in any trouble for it at all, even when my mom took pictures of him wearing it and showed it to the principal and the counselor.
Did the kid ever get into trouble or anything with those pictures? If something as miniscule and pointless to punish for as stickmen with L's is good enough for a suspension, then actually having a shirt with clearly a gun on it is enough to pass by the teachers or not deserve a punishment? I really do hope that you never had any big problems in the school you went to, but this school sounds like complete stuff to be honest. I feel sorry you had to go through something like that.
She said I was included because I didn't break them up, and apparently getting a teacher to stop them still counts as being a bystander.
The same vice principal left my name out of the school graduation hoodie for no apparent reason as well.
I don't have enough time to rant about the systems in schools, but this is beyond idiotic. Pretty much every school I've went to told you clearly to tell a teacher if a fight was going on and such and not get involved directly. Trying to break up a fight yourself is one of the dumbest loving things you could do and I have no idea why the principal would think that's the best thing to do. Also the graduation thing is a huge richard move.
