Author Topic: Map to Static Shape Port Request : Spyglass  (Read 1626 times)

I was wondering if anybody would be kind enough to attempt porting the old Map Spyglass to a static shape map, I think it should be simpler due to the fact it doesn't have complex shapes like the bedroom.

I mainly wanted to use it to remake my old Spyglass TDM, I tried making a map, but accuracy to the map proved to be difficult just using mod terrain.

Here is spyglass : https://mega.nz/#!JEAlEbCJ!L2MqL0xpiR-o_B9El-Dt_QHykhQOpErvuTbhrFsEEZk

I am aware of the possibility of collision errors, but I don't think they would be a bother.

Edit: I found an ancient screenshot of my old TDM server, I definitely need to remake it, my building skills where poor back then.

I mainly used it for my old Red vs Blue TDMs around v15-v19, there was another TDM Map I would like to get ported but I would think this one should have priority.

Please yes.

I remember all of gravity cat's tdms in this and man they were fun

let's see why this may not work:
static shapes + vehicles = lag
I'm not sure why, but even marble's simple bedroom lagged with vehicles in it.
and, with something like this, it'l lag.
Not to mention, most vehicles will probably fall out anyway due to handicapped physics

collisions and welds.
