Visiting New York soon

I'm going to be in NY for a while which is pretty cool as I live in Europe. I've been to Florida before which was kind of boring other than Daytona and watching Discovery go up, and I don't want a repeat of that.
So which local users or previous tourists have been to NY and can tell me some fun stuff to do. I know there's theaters and museums, but I don't think I can fill my week with that.
Apparently pizza is good there, I heard. Any tips with the crowd and traffic?

loving fantastic Broadway Plays. Walk everywhere, it's good exercise. Also, the Toys R' Us there is loving huge.

i went there once. the city is huge and i doubt you'll have trouble looking for things to do. there is a lot of traffic but the subways are an excellent way of transportation since they go pretty much everywhere
