I've always wanted to start a server with my builds. (I build nicely). But I always have to host them on a friends server, and they might not have the bricks! Also Opening the ports are however it is called is fairly difficult, and it didn't work. Is there anyone out there that has the skills to create an add on that opens your server up. It opens your ports as soon as you create the server. Allowing your ping to not be ---. Please someone respond. Or if this is already designed, do not hesitate to show me the link. If it's not possible, then I will just have to find another way to host.

you'd need an external executable file to do anything remotely similar to this

The best solution is to port forward your server. (I've port forwarded and port triggered and now have a ping and people can send challenge requests)

Google it with the name and model of your router in your search—a plethora of guides are out there.  Unfortunately, the technologically savvy in this board mostly present you with the problem you presented in the beginning.

This is what UPnP does—which is, of course, built into the game. You will not get a better solution than UPnP if you want it to be done automatically.

This is counter-intuitive. UPnP forwards your ports for you. Either disable UPnP and manually port forward or leave it enabled and don't do anything else.
