i guess the weapon would have to be either A: too big/heavy/complicated for a 10 year old to use or B: built in such a way that I couldn't be easily disarmed, to ensure that they couldn't use my weapon against me. I suppose custom fit brass knuckles would work, assuming the 10 year olds all had smaller hands than me.

Otherwise, maybe a sword of some kind, where they wouldn't be able to grab for it without cutting themselves.
