Anyone played Golden Sun?

So, I finished both Golden Sun and Lost Age and i'd like to know if anyone played any of the golden sun games
It's a pretty fun RPG, one of my favorites
If you havn't played it, it's on the Wii U Virtual Console
I'm not good at explaining this, but maybe someone else can explain the game's mechanics
Maybe turning this into a megathread if theres enough people? I'd need someone to make the OP though, Not good at that honestly.

I played these games when they first came out on the GBA. I don't know how well they've held up since then though.

I feel like they've held up pretty well, story wise anyway.
The graphics are nice and bearable imo
I've never played any until they were released on the virtual console, The games are really good.
