Author Topic: Chip's Challenge  (Read 849 times)

This goes several years back. In 1989, a game called "Chip's Challenge" was released for the Atari Lynx.
Despite the console's failure, the game was a huge success and made it in 1992 for Windows 3.1 and higher (which is why this version (the most recognized version, it only supports 32-bit computers). In 2014, a "spiritual sequel" to Chip's Challenge was made.
It was called "Chuck's Challenge". It was made for PCs and tablets. Chuck's Challenge became a somewhat success a couple of
months after it's release. Then, after several years of copyright issues, Chuck Sommerville (creator of Chip's Challenge &
Chuck's Challenge) finally released Chip's Challenge 2 and re-released Chip's Challenge, both of which were on Steam.

I do want chip's challenge, but is the only way to buy it on steam?
I thought there was something about owning it -> can still get it or something, but not sure because that old windows desktop that had it is probably long dead

I have chips challenge 1 on steam. Good game.

I might have an old copy on a floppy, dunno if it's possible to play it as is though and I don' have a floppy drive anymore...
