Coders are getting pretty stingy these days.
actually i've noticed that a lot of the more relevant modders are putting their code on github or similar sites and creating mods to share rather than just to keep to themselves
i think a more accurate observation would just be that there doesn't seem to be as much of a clamour for innovation. but who knows. i've been out of the modding scene for a few months to work on other stuff
