undertale really depends on whether you like the characters or not, i recommend you play the demo before making any decisions.

Earthbound is more RPGey than Undertale so it's your best option.

well it depends
earthbound can easily be emulated via snes emulator, but if you're going for a cartridge then that's upward of $290 (unless you're buying off virtual console or something)
but yeah, earthbound is more of an RPG than undertale, so I would just go with earthbound
