for clarification, what he has a problem with is, as i understand:

everytime he starts up the game he needs to keep re-entering his key

Try this.

Open your Blockland folder (found in Documents) and make sure that "key.dat" is not read-only.

Make sure that all of your drivers are up to date. (network drivers)

Check if you are behind a proxy. http://www.lagado.com/proxy-test
