The file size is too big.
They are 65.6 KB and 90.3 KB.

It should be under 60 KB.


And it freezes because it is corrupted or something.
Try redownloading.

it isn't actually corrupted it's just the most underused feature in gifs taking the stage, which is the whole playing once instead of looping
to fix it you would have to import the gif into something like gimp and export it again but with infinite looping turned on

It takes many frames along with a specific delay to achieve a smooth avatar animation. Repeating some frames are necessary. You could upload the moving .gif to a gif splitter site, download each image/ the file of images that makes the gif, then simply rebuild the gif with the loop option unchecked (in some gif builder site/program)
