Author Topic: The default modter bricks  (Read 1101 times)

So the steep x8 corners are forgeted up for me, and I could verify the game cache but I don't want to risk Steam loving up all of my settings or default stuff I changed.
So if anyone has it (literally everyone does), could you upload it?

Thanks.

P.S. by not working i mean the textures rotating incorrectly or the model just being plain forgeted up:

The blb file for the steep 8x corner is forgeted up, everyone has this problem.

I do remember there was a fix released a long time ago for it but that was a year or two ago

Didn't I see somewhere that Badspot was going to add it in an update as default?

What causes such a thing anyway?
Bad texturing? Or just something corrupted?

it wasn't just the texture broken, the model was actually like that and the stretched part was vertical, you can see that better from some other angle
still no idea how that kinda thing happens though

Wrong position of one of the vertices. I tried fixing it once but it made the whole thing invisible, no idea what's up with that.

I thought badspot fixed the steep texture. I brought it to his attention a long time ago. I believe I even downloaded a fix for it.

Fixed coverage issue on ModTer 8x CornerA brick

This doesn't have anything to do with coverage though.

Well that corner was fixed so I don't know why it's not fixed for him but you can't fix that ramp with edge texture placement.

There is nothing that can be done for that because modter are prints.

Now as for this I'm trying to look for the old topic of me creating this but I can't find it.

Someone provided the fix for it in that topic.

I made 3 other prints each rotated 90 degree to the last, so that fixes the alignment, but they glare differently under minimum or higher shaders which I can't seem to fix by changing the transarancy color.
