Author Topic: Blogland + rant - I think my GM is retaliating against me for taking another job  (Read 2118 times)

Not a bad idea, but if I get my manager in trouble, I'm sure I'll be in trouble with her.
Its not like she she can do anything about it lol.

Actually she could. She could not outright fire me for that reason, but she could give me the boot for any other reason she can come up with. My dad was fired once because he was injured on the job and his boss had to pay out workers compensation for a surgery. My dad went back to work after a recovery and just a few days later, they fired him because he was five minutes late after never being late before that.

im just gonna bump this thread to add onto it. apologies if this got resolved.

listen:

you're being overworked and she's making sure you don't get full time worker status.

maybe, just maybe...

she wants you gone NOW? i mean you haven't stated you made a forgetup and didn't get fired.

just do what devildogelite said.

I never said anything to anyone and decided to push through it. Now I have a research paper to do in less than 4 hours. On the bright side though, I only have 19.5 hours left on this schedule.
