Indeed.
VY Canis Majoris has 4 times the gravity of the Sun. Believe it or not, it has a density less than our atmosphere at the "surface" which is actually just a glorified corona, so anything that doesn't evaporate just gets quickly dissolved on the journey to the core unceremoniously.
An extra, unrelated note is that it has a hot, nebula-like shroud that would extend beyond the outer Oort cloud. Just an interesting thought.
