Indeed.

VY Canis Majoris has 4 times the gravity of the Sun.  Believe it or not, it has a density less than our atmosphere at the "surface" which is actually just a glorified corona, so anything that doesn't evaporate just gets quickly dissolved on the journey to the core unceremoniously.

An extra, unrelated note is that it has a hot, nebula-like shroud that would extend beyond the outer Oort cloud.  Just an interesting thought.

his disability turns me on~
I bet he'd love to hear that
too bad he can't

betel is deaf

I must share my interests in music with him ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡° )

he has a hearing aid thing so you can definitely do that.

betel sent me a picture of his rooster when he was wasted and it's really small.

What about NML Cygni? I thought I read recently that it's even bigger than VY Canis Majoris.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/UY_Scuti is currently the largest known star, at 1,708 solar radii. NML Cygni could be bigger but we're not sure.

Aha, I stand corrected:

This is a great website that I've just found: http://umarscience9spaceproject.weebly.com

It goes through the major stars, from Betel to VY Canis to etc. etc.  UY Scuti easily dwarfes VY Canis and just about overlaps Cygni.
