Author Topic: different way to host interna games?  (Read 863 times)

is there another way to host an internet game without port forwarding?
i want to know because my router wont let me port forward no matter what i try.
and iv tried everthing i could find. (google is my friend)
i saw someone talking about starting a server, sending a message, leaving, starting it back up and sending the same message again, and then its not dead anymore more,
but i was wondering where you'd send the message, maybe chat or something.
if you know ANY other way to make one let me know please. :)

If you have a router that doesn't allow for port forwarding (virtually impossible if you own / control the router), then you need to get a new one.

there probably is a way but i dont know how... anythin i try i dont work :(

If you don't know how to forward ports on your own router, you shouldn't be allowed access to the internet.

traider makes a point and port forwad is a good sight to look for a guide  but damn neer impossable to find your router type without getting pissed
