Author Topic: Windows 8 and 10 are flimsy pieces of stuff  (Read 2294 times)

10's ok, but xp was better.

nice, lucky you guys. it even works fine for my brother and my roommate.
but it ran like stuff and completely stopped working for me. there's an alarming amount of people it doesn't work for.

a hit and miss OS is not a good OS.

10's ok, but xp was better.
Yes, I absolutely love having no security in place to protect my system. I sure do love using an outdated version of WDDM and DirectX. I absolutely love that only version of XP was 64-bit and it cost as much as a Nuclear-Power Submarine. I love the fact that Windows XP doesn't have anywhere near the amount of polish that Windows 7/10 have. You are a very intelligent individual, and I love your thinking.

there's an alarming amount of people it doesn't work for.
Prove it.

Win10 ate a bag of richards on my desktop but it's been great on my laptop and tablet after some tweaks

Prove it.
I mean, if you haven't seen the number of people on BLF alone, there's also this:

only version of XP was 64-bit
ummm?
it doesn't really help your case if you literally just make stuff up to support your opinion

ok
"Platforms: IA-32, x86-64 and Itanium"

not that there's really any need to prove that an operating system from 2001 supported 32-bit architectures

I had a few BSOD's that I can't figure out but other than that I'm alright with Windows 10.

I have 8, how's 10 for your guys? I need a reason to move to a less stuffty place.
just stay with 8, if you don't like metro install something like classic shell

I've noticed a lot more BSoD's with windows 10 than windows 7, while doing the same things
no clue what's causing them, it's just randomly out of the blue (heh)

that and some games seem to have issues at random times that will randomly cause it to reboot, only happened twice so far though

Idk about you guys but 10 has worked perfectly for me since it launched

There are a huge amount more pc users now then there were in 2009, and let's also remember that windows 10 launched on tablets and phones as well, Along with many people not being on an OS that would update to a new version, Most of the world wasn't instantly using windows 7 the day it came out.

As of march 73% of americans own a pc.

I personally love how it doesn't include any real numbers there, nor does it give you any data about why they searched that. What's the bet many of those were related to graphics drivers freezing, Explorer crashing or maybe even just curiosity about what others are struggling with?
