I remember the Atlantis one

Personally no. I don't remember this one, the only Indiana Jones games I ever really played were the LEGO ones.

the only Indiana Jones games I ever really played were the LEGO ones.
And let's be entirely honest...they were pretty stuff (especially the vehicle and boss sections; only one good boss fight in the entire game). The Level Builder was about the only decent feature, and it made its way into LEGO Harry Potter, which was a far better game.

Only one I've tried is the first LucasArts point-and-click game; Indiana Jones & The Last Crusade, and I just struggled. I'm really awful with 9-Verb games, and the combat system is unintuitive.

imo the only good lego game is lego star wars the complete saga

The major problem I had with LSWTCS was the challenges the developers introduced for people going for 100% completion; you're expected to complete every single level in the game a minimum of 4 times (Story, Freeplay, Blue Minkit, Super Story), including the woeful Super Story (finish all the chapters in an episode in one hour or less) and those bloody awful blue-minikit challenges.

But yeah, the original Star Wars games were far simpler and the mechanics were very consistent, and there's only a few levels I had a bit of displeasure playing (such as the Kashyyyk Beach).

I played it from a demo disk very briefly when I was young, I gave up in like 15 minutes because I couldn't figure out what I was doing or where I needed to go.

but that was pretty much my approach to like 80% of the xbox games back then.

a general plot thing for the guys who aren't sure if they've played it:

the game begins with indy going into some temple in india or whatever to get a kajiger. however, national socialists also want this kajiger, and so do the chinese, because it's part of a larger mcguffin that unlocks a really powerful thing that can help Riddler or whatever take over the world. there's also a hot chinese lady (albeit the graphics are a bit dated by now)

you may also recall the game as indy constantly saying "That's not gonna work." when you try to open a door that doesn't work

Yeah, I used to have this as a kid and loved it.

It was one of those weird games in my childhood where despite playing it a lot I only progressed a significant amount once.
