Author Topic: Post your Paradoxes here!  (Read 623 times)

if someone lies literally every time they say something, and then confess "everything I say is a lie", then that would be true. If its true then not EVERYTHING they say is a lie. That makes the confession a lie. Which would make it true again
remember that ol "you can only ask one question to a person that only lies and a person that only tells the truth to reach your destination" thing

That one paradox about a heap of sand
The paradox of when to deduce something as a heap?

Pinocchio says "my nose will grow"

Zeno's Dichotomy Paradox:

In order to get to a location, you first must get halfway there. In order to get halfway there, you first must get a quarter of the way there. In order to get a quarter of the way there, you must first get an eighth of the way there. In order to get an eighth of the way there, you first must get a sixteenth of the way there, and so on. The division proceeds forever. Thus we can say in order to cross any distance, an infinite number of points needs to be crossed. Movement is impossible.

Though obviously movement isn't impossible, we do cross an infinite number of points with any and every movement. It's strange to think about.

Because this post is in the paradox thread, it must be a paradox.

Except I refuse to post a paradox, therefore this is not a paradox.
