Author Topic: is having a constant ringing bad for me  (Read 1132 times)

I have this old tv I remade to fit my console, but it rings like when you get shell shocked in war

it's not to loud, but certainly annoying

if I stay in a constant period of this will it overtime make my hearing worse?

Smack it with a hammer

Old plasma screens and CRTVs make these sounds and it's normal.

But if they're loud enough to be a nuisance, then it isn't normal

It would only be potentially damaging if:

A) It is very loud.
B) It is at a resonant frequency of any part of your ear cbrown town/inner ear.

Otherwise it should be fine.

You may get a headache if you're sensitive to it, but it won't hurt your hearing unless it's very loud.

good ol' transformer whine

What is this a 90s tv? Flatscreens don't ring anymore.

lmao i've gotten used to ringing because of my tinnitus

I don't know, ask  a doctor.
