i mean pretty much every anime is meant to sell something
whether that be figurines (99% of them) or action figures (pretty much all mecha series) or the manga/light novels/actual novels or music (symphogear springs to mind for me)

i'm still a beyblade and bakugan fan to this day. the beyblade plastic generation show and toys are much better than metal fight. don't know about beyblade burst yet tho.
