this looks fun, but ill probably wait until either b. it goes on a bigger sale or b. its a little further in development because my pc isnt the best and i dont feel like spending $20 on a poorly optimized game

Yeah that'd probably be best. Devs seem to be updating regularly, maybe give it 4-6 months and check back in then.
