Saves Won't Load

I downloaded Utopia City and Blocko Seattle yesterday, dropped them in my saves folder. Didn't show up in game. I went back to the folder put ".bls" at the end of the file name. still not there. I went back and assigned PICTURES to them. still didn't show up.

What did I do wrong?

I need these to film the movie "Glory Long Past"

what files did you download?
was it a .zip file? a .rar? just a file?
what are the contents when you open the save file with notepad?
is it readable text? does it look like other save files?

for the readable text does the top start with "This is a Blockland save file"

Are you on a Mac? Make sure the file is actually a .bls and not .txt.bls or something like that.

I find it strange you could add the extension to a save file yourself.
Either it is a .zip or other known Windows file name that gets hidden and you now have a file called "Savefile.bls.zip"
Or it isn't really a Blockland save you downloaded.
Or it is some Mac related issue.
