Author Topic: I make surreal ambient loops in audacity when I'm bored  (Read 1322 times)

I have absolutely no idea why I'm making these and it's been going on for the better part of a year. I will gradually update as I make more.

I'm sharing this because it's something I have made in my spare time and maybe somebody will find it cool, because I do. Bit of a volume warning, those with their sound too high might get spooked

"Crypt" - Slow building ambient horror
"Check Block" - A fast paced "Escape the monster" sorta track
"Strange House" - Meant to be a more ambient track
"Caller ID" - Short sampling test, I honestly don't know what to tell you
"Church" - Eerie expositional ambient track
"Empty Streets" - I tried to make a simple song using samples
"Waves" - I don't recall the purpose of this track
*bonus* Spelunker - I like working with trackers and this is a song I made

Quite nice overall.

I like the vibe that Empty Streets has but it feels a little repetitive.
Waves is 2spooky

how do you make these? i'm interested

i really like caller id for some reason

how do you make these? i'm interested

With audacity and lots of practice

Very nice, dude. Love it.

legit creepy some of these. less surreal and more just plain horror/suspense

some of these sound like they could be part of a horror game's soundtrack. or a horror movie. or maybe an audio book.

"empty streets" actually gives me a bit of nostalgia for some reason
