When I was younger I found a flash 2D game of a colorful ball that floats or bounces around platforms, the background is trippy and there are other metal balls that you have to avoid (not sure) but this game got several sequels, I believe it was on newgrounds or something I can't tell anymore, it also had some cool techno musics.
