What's up forums, i'm going to post this poll just to see how many people would agree on sharing creativity to help bring out those amazing imaginations some Blocklanders can't spew out like others can.

Generally a good community is going to be a team, helping eachother learn and adapt to the game's engine
and how we can all come together to help instruct people fundamentals that will let there imagination run
wild. We need people working for this cause, all I know is some TorqueScript basics.. i'm sure as hell not
the best at teaching. It pains me, I feel so monotone and so incapable of explaining things properly. We as
a community need to extend out our skills, talent and knowledge to one another. It's that simple, we haven't
had amazing servers recently because of this very issue. Blockland seems pretty simple for people who have
been here for many years, but generally someone just joining or just someone incapable of comprehending
the mechanics of the game are lost and want to express themselves in this extremely versatile sandbox game.
I couldn't say its the most versatile, but it seems like once you get the hang of it.. you can let yourself free.

My thought on this whole situation is; just to see how many people would be willing to share particular knowledge,
this topic seems very obscure, if you think its stuff just vote its a stuff topic.

Why is it in the suggestions, you might ask? Well that's because I feel like General Discussion already has so many
good topics, and this one is quite pointless lol

teaching others takes time not all blocklanders are willing to spend. tutorials have been posted infrequently for modding, though, as modders realize their knowledge isn't all that easy to pick up quickly or find.

building tutorials are a lot more rare - if anything we need more topics where people release their builds and the addons required to load/see them. a lot of good building comes from seeing good builds and taking/adapting the design concepts from them.

ive shared modeling and scripting experience, but i don't consider myself a definitive source for either. i do plan on making/am working on tutorials for certain modding topics.

Yeah. This is just an attempt at sparking people's thoughts about tutorials. We need more people instructing via videos and other ways we can break it down. Some people learn things differently than others, so just one tutorial won't reach everyone's head. And/or may not teach the right way for a particular person. I genuinely think we should provide software/plugins anything to help guide people on what to use to begin with what they are doing, in that cause its only modeling and scripting. Since you got Notepad++.etc and MilkShake3D and Blender.

We just need to make these tutorials more accessible as well, we can't just post this on some random blog then share to random people. We need a foundation to build from with instructions and ease of access. I hope it could be made, but that's just me day dreamin' lol
