Author Topic: Gun Freedums: Do they really matter that much?  (Read 3334 times)

I carry because I couldn't live with the regret of missing the chance to legally shoot black people.

No, they don't.
Either opinion you have on it, it affects the world so little. We need to focus on the important stuff like climate change instead of petty crap like this and that transgender bathroom thing a while ago.
we sould also relinquish our mortality and ascend into the stars, free of flesh and bone, because in the end ALL life ends and our troubles matter naught

I'd rather be shot than stabbed

9/10 victims shot with pistols usually survive

I would also like to add that you don't need a firearm to shoot recreationally - a hunting bow, airsoft gun, or BB gun will do.
As somebody who's fired all of these, no they won't.

They're fine the way they are except I think being able to open carry anything bigger than a pistol is stupid
*cough TEXAS cough*

How many people have you seen open-carry that hasn't been for a political statement

iirc open carry is legal in Delaware and I've never seen anyone do it. Its impractical for self defense anyway

I'm going to say yes, the second amendment is highly important.

A lot of people fail to grasp this concept, but rights are voluntary. You don't have to own a gun if you don't believe in gun ownership.

Trying to take away other people's rights is like saying, "I'm on a diet, so nobody else should be allowed to eat ice cream either."

of course they're important
but there are some people who just cannot be trusted with firearms, whether it be due to lack of and refusal to get safety training or genuine mental health problems
