Emulate shaders?

I'm on mac and I know this question is stupid, but is it possible to emulate shaders on Intel? Just wondering, really want to experience the shaders.

You need to figure out what you want to do first

You'd have to emulate a GPU and, that's almost always a bad idea for just general use.

You can only emulate worse hardware, not better. If this worked why would anyone buy a new gpu?
