exactly what they're doing
I'm leaving my iPhone 5s probably for this phone. I honestly don't like iOS 10 and I've had this phone for 3 years where I've noticed my battery life is poop now.

what's the thing on the back

the circle in the middle is a fingerprint scanner-- where it should be on a phone

"Unlimited storage for all your photos and videos."

"Storage: 32 or 128GB"

what is this
if they're talking about google drive, every phone can install it... unless they're making a special promotion

They're offering unlimited cloud storage to people who own one of these overpriced phones.

I didn't check the small print whether it's actually unlimited tho

² Unlimited backups for photos and videos taken with your Pixel. Requires Google account. Data rates may apply.
Might be limited to just photos and videos. Not that you'd be storing your installed apps on a cloud anyway.

it is limited to images and videos, and idk about the storage capacity being truly "unlimited" but it does seem that way

i personally only have cloud backup turned on for any pic/vid that ends up in my default "camera" folder but you can turn it on for other folders too. it's also separate from google drive: https://photos.google.com/

Oh my gosh. I got the 6P. This thing is big. But it's absolutely amazing. I'm in love. 😂
