There were 22 bands, split between class 1a 2a 3a and 4a. We were in 3a, which had 4 other bands.
Our band ratings in the 3 primary subjects were Superior in percussion(best), Superior in color guard(best) and Excellent on overall band(2nd best).
In our section(3a) we scored highest in all subjects (color guard, drum majors, percussion, music performance, visual performance, probably something else)
Out of ALL the bands (some of which were 2x-3x larger than ours) we ranked HIGHEST in percussion(scoring a 95.6). Aka, we had the best percussion section out of all 22 bands, with some front lines and drumline 4x larger than ours.
Our color guard was 3rd out of all the bands
Our overall band was 5th out of all the bands.
Extras: we lost 5-10 points on the overall band and color guard due to a prop falling, and if it had not fallen we would've won overall in all subjects.
UPDATE:Last Saturday, we had another competition.
We placed Superior in Percussion, Band, General effect, visual effect, musical performance.
We got an excellent in Drum Majors.
Overall, we were the grand champion(we were 1st over all.. 14 bands)
